Timber harvesting Jackson Forest was halted by court order
in 2001 and remained prohibited, except for a 6-day period in 2003, until
approval of a new forest Management Plan (MP) in January, 2008. To date,
February 2009, timber harvesting has not resumed.
A number of Timber Harvest Plans
(THPs) have been reviewed by the Jackson Advisory Group. As materials (and
time for organizing) become available, they will be posted here. Click on
